Promoting research through claiming centrality and explicit research contributions in applied linguistics research articles

Since authors intend to publish their academic research in reputable journals, promoting significance is pivotal convincing journal gatekeepers for accepting articles (RAs). However, studies on promotion within RAs are still limited, and none has comparatively studied this essential issue English published international journals Indonesian highly-accredited as data sets. Thus, comprehending gap encouraged me conduct the present study, by analyzing how claiming centrality contribution employed both For analysis, I a top-down approach sets used combined qualitative quantitative approaches analysis reports. Then, results revealed that while appeared most of sets, presenting only few tend express these two communicative steps using simple sentences more than other three sentence types, except those they mostly employ complex expressing contribution.
